Minutes for DCA meeting on Wednesday 6th May 2026

1/         Attendance:

• Tony, Liam, and David.
• Apologies: Sean and Sorcha.

2/         Minutes:

• The minutes of the 4^th February 2026 meeting were read and adopted.

                                    Proposed – Tony.

                                    Seconded – Laim.

3/         Matters arising:

• Liam advised that he wrote to the local media about cycle lanes.

4/         New Members:

• Dr Dave Connolly was welcomed on joining the DCA.

5/         Correspondence:

• There was no correspondence.

6/         Finance:

• There was no change in the finances.

7/         Great Eastern Greenway:       

• Tony advised that he had attended two public consultation meetings about the proposed flood relief schemes in the Dundalk and Blackrock areas and had made submissions on the lack of detail regarding cycle lanes inclusions in the proposed works.

8/         Dundalk Cycle Lanes:

• Tony reported on the slashing of allocated funding for cycle lanes in the current financial year as reported in the Louth CoCo monthly reports on the Louth CoCo website.

9/         A.O.B

• There was no AOB.

10/       The next meeting will be:
