Minutes of meeting of the Dundalk Cycling Alliance

1/Attendance
Nadia, Tony, Liam, Ollan and Pat with apologies from Fiona.
2/Minutes.
Tony proposed and Ollan seconded the adoption of the minutes of the last meeting that were adopted and signed by Liam.
3/Matters Arising
Liam advised that he had sent a letter to the Dundalk Town Council as requested.
4/Cooley Cycle Lanes
Tony said that he would invite people from Newry to a meeting on the Cooley Cycle lane lobby group. Liam will invite Michael Curran to the same meeting. The meeting will be held in Newry in January 2013. Other members will be invited to attend. The format of the meeting will be:

5/AOB
5.1 Laim and Tony will make a presentation to the new Dundalk Tourist Officer in connection with the Cooley Cycle Lane project.
5.2 Ollan advised that a cycle lane will be made along the Castleblaney Road.
5.3 Ollan will also draw up a map to show a suggested route from the Train Station to the Tourist Office in the Square. This will be used by Tony and Liam when visiting the Town Tourist Officer.
6/Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held in Liam’s house from 8:00 to 9:30 on Wednesday 6th February 2013.
